Oxyserphus narendrani is a species of parasitic wasp from the family Proctotrupidae.
History
It was named after the late Indian entomologist T. C. Narendran for his contributions to the study of parasitic wasps.
First discovered in Dibru-Saikhowa National Park in Assam, India, by group of researchers of the Zoological Survey of India.
But it was first collected in November 2024 using a yellow pan trap
Features
It's size is about 3.3 mm long, has a black head, brownish black body, with yellow legs, with highly distinctive microscopic morphological features.
It represents the first ever recorded identification of the genus Oxyserphus in a Oriental biogeographic region.
